Make sure that what you are fixing to is 100mm taller than the gate height to allow for the top hinge and a gap underneath allowing opening and closing, the top hinge spigots from the top of the gate
Allow 50mm overall for the hinges and the lip in the middle of the gates. Additionally, allow 100mm above the height of the hinge end of the gate for the mounting fixture. This extra height provides space for the top hinge to extend from the top of the gate and ensures there is a gap at the bottom for the gate to open properly.
