Day 1 - Health and Safety & Practical Force Testing
Day 2 - BS 4872 MMA Welding
Day 3 - Electrical Safe Isolation, Testing and
Fault Finding & Automation Installation
Day 4 - Automation Installation
Day 5 - DHF Level 2 Exam & GID Final Exam

1 DAY CLASSROOM AND PRACTICAL COURSE
Safety in welding
Machinery controls
Welding theory
Practical MMA welding of different materials
Assessment leading to EAL qualification if to standard.
2 DAYS COURSE
There is a prerequisite that people attending the course have a basic knowledge of welding activities. They should be able to produce a weld to a minimum of standards to be able to reach the expected standards by the end of the course.
1 DAY CLASSROOM COURSE
BS7671 familiarisation focused on wiring associated with automatic gates.
Multifunction tester familiarisation.
Safe isolation procedures and practice.
Low ohmmeter testing.
Insulation resistance testing.
Earth loop impedance testing.
Testing of RCD’s/RCBO’s.
Multi-brand controller familiarisation.
